Sometimes known as hillbilly horseshoes, hillbilly golf, or redneck golf, ladder golf is a great summer of sport for everyone. You will find that it played in the backyards of families of students at universities, those of children in a playground of Tailgaters at sporting events, even among senior citizens in RV parks. It was called 2007 ION Sports Toy of the Year.
Ladder Golf is lawn game that is played with a ladder thatconsists of three stages, and bolas. The Bola is a nylon rope with a golf ball attached at each end. The ladder is set up, with each player alternately throw away their bolas at the ladder of five steps. The official cast line is 15 feet from the ladder. Teams of two persons or, alternately throwing the bolas (each player has three) is replaced by the ladder to collect points. Usually decided by a coin toss, who go ahead. The opposing player or team stands next to the ladder, while throwing the other player or team.
