Why Adults Need to Say No, or Ten Ways to an Early Grave

I have this changed first in 2002, and nothing seems since then.

As a typical American in a country, you are probably so caught up, voluntarily and involuntarily, into such a variety of activities you how to be trapped in a spider web. Try to move it easily, an independent, without crediting the same eight alarms.

But a number of adverse events that may befall you if you have not learned to say no To illustrate this, a mortuary once ran a public service announcementin the newspaper. It was entitled "Ten Ways to an early grave."

As I recall, and my memory is not perfect, these options are available:

1. Accept all invitations to meetings, banquets, committees, and all requests for voluntary or family planning.

2. Climbing up that ladder, so you get it, first and foremost, even if that means 10-12 hours sitting behind a desk every day.

3. Extend that work by commuting ridiculous distances.

4. RegardFishing, golf, bowling, tennis, as a waste of time and money.

5. Consider gardening and housework lower to tasks that are beneath you (unless you've damaged your back from stress, accidents or other hectic efforts and can not) simply it.

6. Fight day-to-date remain with the Everhard, trying to keep up with the Smiths, who tries to keep up with the Lincoln are.

7. Flaunt have possession, but maintaining a low profile.

8.Believe that it is bad policy to take all the holidays you may.

9. Delegate to visit some other family members, your children's school events.

10. Refusing to be involved in something that other people helps, but not directly benefit financially.

Even if death does not allow access in response to your attitude to life, others develop severe, often life-threatening health problems, you take too much or too many of the falseThings.

It is highly desirable that the person who is a non-profit worry about your family, your neighbors, your friends, your community, your religious activities and on humanity in general. It is so true that no man or woman is an island. As illustrated by the events of recent years, this type of care brings out the best in us all.

But it is quite another to run ragged every day, because you are always allowed you to be exploited, and to know other peopleWhich from now on.
